Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I later upgraded to a Kodak 620 Monitor by the age of 12. The same age I learned to develop film and print my work. I've have had many teachers and influences over the years. I love the role that photography has played in history, recording the ephemeral stuff of life. I purchased my first new camera in1975 a Canon Ftb. I have some deep knowledge of the arcane chemical alchemy of photography. So I worked for about 10 years as a custom printer as an all-around lab-rat.
